KUALA KRAI, Aug 30 (Bernama) -- Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak will join residents of Manik Urai at a breaking of fast on Sept 7. Kelantan Umno liaison chief Datuk Mustapa Mohamed said the function to be held at the MARA Junior Science College (MRSM), here, would be attended by about 10,000 residents. "The prime minister's presence is in appreciation of the support given by Manik Urai voters during the by-election last month," he told reporters after meeting with officers and staff of the South Kelantan Development Authority (Kesedar), here, Sunday. In the by-election on July 14, PAS candidate Mohd Fauzi Abdullah defeated Tuan Aziz Tuan Mat from Barisan Nasional with a slight majority of 65 votes. "Although BN lost, it was a moral boost for BN," he said.
